About
Alexandra Milin Glaeser is a hospitalist physician and Associate Professor who practices at UCLA Ronald Reagan and Santa Monica medical centers. She is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Glaeser received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. During her medical education, she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her internship, residency, and chief residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude with honors in her major.
She has a passion for medical school and residency education. Currently, she is the Co-Chair of the 4th year Capstone course at the David Geffen School of Medicine. She is a core mentor for medical students interested in internal medicine. She is also the Co-Director of the Procedure Service, performing a variety of bedside procedures and working on facilitating transitions of care. She has an inpatient quality improvement role, focusing on ensuring patient safety. She regularly teaches point of care ultrasound and incorporates it into her care of patients. She is also trained in high-fidelity simulation, which she uses to teach medical students and residents throughout their longitudinal curriculum.
Above all, her goal is to provide the highest level of individualized care to patients in a holistic manner.
